The darkness is so nice,
It’s older than time and more wise.
It braces all without question,
To one’s frivolities without the slightest mention.
Do not analyse, why it’s arms are always open in a warm welcome.
Others like you here reside,
And yet you would never know that there’s someone besides.
For some odd reason,
You’ll never feel quite alone.
And somehow realise that,
To all the fine feelings you are prone.
It’s all yours’
To have and to hold.
You are yourself,
Calm and bold.
